Learn To Dance the Melbourne Shuffle on DVD

every day I'm shufflin'

The Melbourne Shuffle is a cool street dance that you have probably seen on LMFAO’s hit song “Party Rock Anthem”. Like many others, we wanted to learn the dance, so we looked for instructional dance videos and found one that we consider the best Melbourne Shuffle instruction on video. It’s produced by an Australian company that sells their DVDs on their website, wedancehard.com.

They offer two DVDs, one basic with lots of dance footage, and another for the advanced shuffler. The DVDs are a complete guide to shuffling with all the basic and popular moves, spins and footwork. Both videos are jam-packed with over 2 hours of step-by-step tutorials and actual dance footage. They caution that the dance is very addictive and after learning a few steps, all we can say is that we are hooked. The instruction is clear and easy to follow. Ideal for beginners and anyone looking for more steps and technique. Although it’s fast at times, a simple rewind on the remote is all one needs to go back and review. At the end of the videos, you can dance along with a live shuffle party!

Shuffling is a fun and easy-to-learn dance which brings back the classic 80’s “running man” move as well as a few other breakdancing footwork. The moves can be done to fast tempo music preferably with hard-hitting beats. Here are some clips from the video:

The DVDs are region free, but are PAL format which means they will play in computers, but not in most North American DVD players. The DVDs can be purchased directly from the producers at wedancehard.com or if you're in the U.S. and don't want to wait 2 weeks for shipping, try cypherstyles.com. They can also be rented from us at DanceFlix!
